Your Kingdom Come

“And, we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Sprit.”  2 Corinthians 3:18

As we move forward into the video sessions from Reggie McNeal, we as Christians should be praying, “Your Kingdom come.” We all long to see our homes, neighborhoods, tribes, and workplaces filled with Jesus’ light. It has become more apparent that our “tribe” is destined to move into the “Kingdom of God” and spread his word. One of the easiest ways to begin this move is to spread the “Blessings” of Christ throughout our daily lives. I have made a conscious effort to begin spreading blessings on a daily basis. My blessings might not seem like a “big deal” to me, but I might never know how that blessing is received and what it might do for the person I pass it on to.

I am constantly reminded that the more time I spend in God’s presence, the more I become changed into His likeness. Not only will I be changed, but so will the world around me.

Dear God, I ask for you to open my heart to your blessings. Help me to be open to taking the time to pass your blessings on to others. Remind me and those around me that “Your Kingdom Come” is what we need to make the world a better place. In your son’s name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
