Words of Wisdom

Ah, it’s May! Graduation season. Where stories are shared about where we’ve been and stories are beginning to be created about where we are going.

Who are the graduates in your lives? I’ve got my niece Molly, cousin’s daughter Maddie and step-niece Alexandra graduating from high school this month. I offer congrats to GGCC HS grads Jacob, Grace, Lexi and Kyle; and college grads Jess, Matt, Nich, Hunter. (Who am I missing?)

What advice do you have for graduates? Got any words of wisdom you like to share?

I want graduates to know they are beloved, chosen children of God, created to follow Jesus in making the world a place of mercy, grace and peace; with Christ they can do anything. And I can’t wait to see them become all God dreams for them.

Tomorrow we celebrate and bless our high school grads and their parents. We’ll talk about the stories that shape us and that we shape. It won’t be the same without you at 10:00 am.

Grace be with you,
