I noticed lately that my email boxes (both work and personal) are filled with advertisements. Daily, companies reach out to offer 10% off or a big sale for the next 24-hours (ACT NOW!!). So, what if God was trying to get our attention? And, he wanted to act immediately?  How would he reach out to us? In the call from friend? In the beauty of the pure, fresh-fallen snow? In an email request?

The Lord reached out to Moses in the form of the burning bush. With Saul, the Lord used a light shining from Heaven. God was asking something of both these men. Steps they must take, such as directing Moses to bring the Israelites out of Egypt, and Saul in Acts 9:6  “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

The Lord doesn’t just get our attention and leave us wondering.  He is specific with us. He wants to get our attention, so we turn to him and ask, “What do you want me to do, Lord?”

Sometimes we're able to "hear" something in our spirit that sounds to us like an actual audible voice. Or all of a sudden, you just know you heard something. Pay attention to those occasions because it is very likely God trying to tell you something.

What is it that God wants you to do today? What requires you, with a sense of urgency, to ACT NOW, and respond to his request?
