Walking in MIssion

It was such a gift to welcome Brad Corrigan back to worship to hear again of how God has worked through him to change Brad and build relationships for the kingdom.   May we continue to ask questions, listen and look for how God is calling us to join in blessing the world.  We're not called to solve all the world's problems or know the answers for others, but to hear how God is asking us to serve...and look into the eyes of another to find God.

The conversation continued at the Jensen home as many pondered such questions as:

  • Why would we need Nicaragua more than Nicaragua needs us?
  • Let us pray to God for mission to engage in both near and far away. Or as we empty ourselves God will fill us with blessings.
  • Who might you share the story of Nicaragua (Haiti, CETAV, Open Door, Paris Elementary, The Gathering Place) with? Write the name(s) down and pray for an opportunity.
  • What portion of scripture stood out to you this week, either in worship or your daily readings? Why? How is God talking to you?

May you go this week to walk forward in faith, not fear.

At dawn I walk.
It is blessed where I walk.
Behind me it is blessed where I walk.
Before me it is blessed where I walk.
I walk. I walk. I walk.
It is blessed where I walk.
