Trust in God

Do not underestimate the importance of your relationship with God.

Do not over complicate your relationship with God.

These are precious words from a dear friend of ours whose son is recovering from a traumatic brain injury. He, his wife, and family have been such an incredible inspiration to all that know them. Their strong faith in God is what has gotten them through this four week ordeal, and will be their peace and comfort now with the Rehab at Craig Hospital.

We all face tough challenges in our lives and we don’t get to choose what these challenges will be. Our emotions cover crying, anger, ‘why?’, and possibly denial.
Is it medically possible to run out of tears? Please read Psalm 56:8-11.

Our strength is not found in religion, but in our relationship with our Lord and Savior.
Allow God to speak to your heart and intently listen.
Chat (pray) with Him as your BFF...Best Friend Forever. Please read John 16:33.

Christ will give us the power when we are powerless!

In the words of the Apostle Paul:

“And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in Him. May your roots go down deep in the soil of God’s marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” Ephesians 3:17-19.
