The Way

It's been a tough week to write an uplifting blog. I attended a play with my GGCC family last week that still has me pondering. Then of course there is the current political division causing anxiety for many. The final blow was the Super Bowl Fiasco! Sorry Patriot fans, but celebrating joy for three quarters, then to still question what on earth happened ?!?!

So my 'go to smile' of the week is to focus on the Bible story I am teaching our five year olds at BSF ( Bible Study Fellowship). We are in the book of John and just finished the story of Jesus washing the feet of the disciples. The kids thought that was really cool, but we're not keen on washing each other's feet!

So now, Jesus and his disciples are lounging around the table after finishing their meal.
Jesus knew that He was going to die soon on the cross. He wanted to give them comfort in what was about to happen. John 14:1 is "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me." Jesus then goes on to tell them He is going to prepare a place for them in His Father's house. I'm sure these bright kiddos will want to know what electronics will be available to them. Since I don't have the floor plan and amenities... I'll have to wing it.

Our main truth this week is: Jesus will return for the people who love and believe in Him.
Their answer to 'What is eternal life' is... Living with God in heaven forever!
Our scripture verse this week is one of the BEST EVER!

John 14:6 " I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It will be an AWESOME week...come join us !!

Have a Blessed day, a gift from God!

Its such as you learn my thoughts! You appear to understand a
lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.

I think that you could do with some % to pressure the message house
a bit, however instead of that, this is wonderful blog.
An excellent read. I'll certainly be back.

of course like your website but you have to check the spelling on several
of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling
problems and I in finding it very troublesome to tell the
reality on the other hand I will certainly come back again.
