Take the Leap

Faith : [feyth] noun

1. confidence or trust in a person or thing: faith in another's ability.
2. belief that is not based on proof: He had faith that the hypothesis would be substantiated by fact.
3. belief in God or in the doctrines or teachings of religion: the firm faith of the Pilgrims.
4. belief in anything, as a code of ethics, standards of merit, etc.: to be of the same faith with someone concerning honesty.
5. a system of religious belief: the Christian faith; the Jewish faith.

Faith was just another word; a word heard mostly on Sunday, a girl’s name. Then I lost my job and made a life altering decision; to leave a 26-year career as an accountant and follow a dream. Since then faith has become my mantra; faith in myself; faith in the future; faith that my decision was an answer to my prayers; faith that it is enough. I literally chant “I am faith” when I meditate and when I wake up in the middle of the night, my heart gripped in panic. When everything else is stripped away, faith is all I have left, all I need. Faith that no matter what happens with Yoga Trigo, life goes on, as it should, faith that I am being guided, faith that it is enough.
