Sunday to Monday / You Count

You count: “You are an adopted child of God”  Ephesians 1:5

It was a great Sunday of worship to begin the new year. Pastor Dave and St Paul reminded us that we are saints, blessed and loved before God created anything. We've been adopted into God's family with grace freely bestowed. Good News indeed for the start of 2016!

Here are starters for your devotions, conversations and reflections this week.

  • Do you make spiritual resolutions? Do you keep them? Why or why not? Here’s a link to a list of Spiritually Literate Resolutions
  • What does it mean to be “God’s own child”? If you made a resolution to live life fully as Gods own child? How would life change? See Ephesians 1:1-14 for reference.
  • Ponder in prayer where God wants to create a merciful sense of urgency within you for change.
  • What does a “voice from heaven sound like”. See Luke 3:21,22 for reflection.
