Sunday to Monday/ Wyoming Wanderings

I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.  Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:1-2

On Sunday, the group of 3 adults and 7 Firm youth spoke about their time in Wyoming at Wind River Reservation last week.

The group shared about how the mission trip offered multiple opportunities to step out of their comfort zone and learn that with God all things are possible.

Some questions to think about as you move through your week...

•      Read Mark 12:28-31 daily.   How does this make a difference in how you approach your day and those you meet?
•      How would you define “worship”?  In Romans 12:1, Paul describes worship as when we sacrifice with our very lives.   What then, is worship?
•      Romans 12:6-8 gives a list of spiritual gifts.  What gifts have you been graced with?  How do you, or might you use those gifts to offer worship?
•      In John 15:12-17, Jesus tells us to love one another and go bear the fruit of that love.   Where do you feel called to “go” and share Jesus’ love?
