Sunday to Monday | Worth Weeping Over

On Sunday, Pastor Dave's sermon entitled, Worth Weeping Over was based on the text from John 11:1-44. He reminded us that the resurrection is here and now, waiting for us in our dead places, should we drop the "if" conversations and ask God for "new life."

Consecration Sunday was further celebrated with a luncheon attended by over 100 participants. The BBQ'd tofu was "to die for..."

Some questions to think about as you start your week...

-Have you ever experienced Jesus not reacting to a situation as rapidly as you would like? (John 11: 6) Why might it be a blessing to us that Jesus work within his timeframe and not ours?

-Are you open with Jesus in prayer about what makes you “weep?” (John 11:28-35) In Christ’s compassion Jesus “weeps” with you.

-The resurrection (John 11:25) is not a promise that only activates when we physically die. Jesus comes to where we experience death while still physically alive and sets us free (John 11:44). How might this truth transform your life?
