Sunday to Monday / What If God Was One of Us?

“Some Christians stay at the foot of the cross and never climb up on the cross to see what Jesus sees.” ~ Desmond Tutu

Where is God in the midst of human suffering? Jesus was in pain, he was thirsty, he was like us. We have a God who understands what we go through in life. We gathered in worship to be reminded of this.

Reflect on the message this week as we head into Holy Week next Sunday.

  • What does it mean to suffer? When have you observed suffering?
  • How does Christ’s suffering impact your suffering? How does the Christ of the cross impact the suffering in the world? See John 19:28,29 for further reflection.
  • Reflect upon the quote of Desmond Tutu, “Some Christians stay at the foot of the cross and never climb up on the cross to see what Jesus sees.”
  • Palm Sunday is next week. Prayerfully consider the words of Jesus ,”It is Finished” John 19:30. Was it finished, or was Jesus just getting started?

Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no backup.
Do you have any methods to stop hackers?

Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon on a daily basis.
It's always helpful to read through content from other writers and practice something from
their websites.

When I originally commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Cheers!

I think everything published made a great
deal of sense. However, what about this? what if you were to
create a killer headline? I ain't suggesting your information isn't
solid., but what if you added a post title that makes people desire more?
I mean Sunday to Monday / What If God Was One of Us?
| God s Grace Community Church is kinda plain. You might peek at
Yahoo's front page and see how they create post titles to get viewers to
open the links. You might add a related video or a related pic
or two to get people excited about what you've written. In my opinion, it would
bring your website a little livelier.
