Sunday to Monday / ThanksLiving

“We should certainly count our blessings, but we should also make our blessings count.”

Neal A. Maxwell

Yesterday, worship was rich as we remembered that through Christ our King we can have abundant life and engage in ThanksLiving. Paul's letter to the Colossians, first chapter, verses 3-20 affirmed and reminded us of this Good News. Because we are grateful, we are transformed to live differently. Because everything we have is a gift from God, we can be a gift to others.

The two questions we must consider:

What are you thankful for? and What are you going to do about it?

If you missed worship, watch it here. Check out photos from the Thanksgiving Baskets here. See photos from worship yesterday here. See photos from Pastor Dave's trip to Israel here

Take the message into your week:

  • What and who are you grateful for? What are you going to do about it?
  • How do you cultivate an attitude of gratitude?
  • How does your life show that you believe Jesus is King?
  • Being grateful is life-transforming; how is your life transformed through thanks-living?
  • Looking forward to next week: What does Advent mean to you?
