Sunday to Monday | We Remember, Lest We Forget

“God for us, God alongside us, God within us.”

- Richard Rohr

We had the honor of hearing reflections from veterans about Memorial Day. It was moving and appreciated. Each service was unique, so you will want to go here to watch the service(s) you weren't at. It was also a morning to celebrate our ONE God who we understand as three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Much like our heroes we mourn and remember. “The life of the Trinity is characterized not by self-centeredness but by mutually self-giving love.” Timothy Keller

Memorial Day blessings to us all as we remember and are grateful.

Prayers of the Day

For your week's reflections, conversations and reading:

  • How do you commemorate Memorial Day? If you don’t, why not?
  • Consider the idea of the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) as a Divine Dance. Where might you enter into the dance?
  • If God is relationship, how are we called to be in relationship?
  • Looking ahead to next week: Why do you think Jesus used spit to heal?

You really make it seem really easy with your presentation but I in finding this topic to be really something which I
think I might by no means understand. It kind of feels too complicated and very extensive for me.

I am looking forward to your subsequent publish, I will attempt to get the hold of
it!
