Sunday to Monday | We Are the Beloved

“The heavens were opened to him and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove.” Matthew 3:16

We gathered to worship, praise and thank God. It was good to gather in room 300 at RCHS and with those who were there via the live stream. Pastor Dave shared Matthew 3:13-17 of Jesus' baptism. The heavens opened and God descended to proclaim Jesus chosen and beloved. God descends to us so that we might know we are chosen and beloved too. If you missed being with us you can watch here and pray with us http://ggcc.publishpath.com/sunday-prayers-of-the-dayhere

Check out photos from Bingo at The Gathering Place and worship.

  • When have you felt the mystery of God’s voice in a sermon? See Matt 3:13-17 for reflection.
  • Pray that you might hear the voice of God in God’s time.
  • Looking ahead to next week: If Martin Luther King Jr were to give a sermon today what would be the focus of his message?
