“Experience, Expectations and Perspective”
It was a beautiful morning to gather for worship. God's Word was shared with authenticity
and humility by Jim Dietvorst. Jim invited us to see how the disciples James and John (and us) don't realize that they(we) are already at Jesus' side experiencing the Kingdom. Read Mark 10:35-45 here. With Jesus' help we can transform our pain instead of inflicting our pain on others. It's through love that we can serve others and love the world.
If you missed it, you can watch it here. Pray with us here.

Last week the congregation affirmed sending Convoy of Hope $1,000 to assist in Convoy of Hope's relief work with people affected by Hurricane Michael. They report that "Through your generous donations and great partners, Convoy of Hope has shipped more than 3 million pounds of relief supplies to Florida in response to Hurricane Michael!"
Mark your calendar for these upcoming events:
Enrichment for your week's devotions and conversations:
- Do you spend time and prayer thinking about what has GOD done for you or what God needs to do for you?
- Do you find your expectations more reasonable than those around you? Does this seem reasonable?
- Watch/Listen to this song by Peter Eide “As Is” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-I3Okfw9YM Do your expectations include you as you are?
- Looking ahead to next week: Read Romans 3:19-28. What does this say about your relationship with God?
