Sunday to Monday | The Kingdom's Pride & Joy

"Every child you encounter is a divine appointment.” Wess Stafford

Something that is loved is never lost.” Toni Morrison

We gathered to worship and celebrate the annual Back to School Blessing. We blessed students and teachers and parents. We listened to the Word of God from Luke 18:15-17 (Jesus blessing the children) and Ephesians 5:1-2 (Paul telling us to love like God loves.) We heard the state of children in Colorado (it's not pretty.) And our friend, brother and partner in ministry, Jude Del Hierro of Confluence Ministries shared some stories of hope. How the impact of connecting with kids touches their lives for years. If you missed being with us watch here. Pray with us here.

Check out photos from last week's ministry:

And don't miss this summer event: Hazel Miller free concert at Streets of Southglenn.

Take the message into your week's conversations, reflections and devotions.

  • Why did Jesus want to see the children? Why did he chastise the disciples for trying to keep them away?
  • How are children a priority in your life? Where is Jesus inviting you to serve kids?
  • Read Ephesians 5:1-2: how do you see God loving others? How might you love like God?
  • Looking ahead to next week: “If you had a month to do whatever you wanted to do, what would you choose to do?”
