Sunday to Monday | Spiritual World

“You must give up the life you planned in order to have the life that is waiting for you.”

Joseph Campbell

Great day of worship yesterday, even with the cold, at the halfway point between Christmas and Easter. We shared stories of God's mystical nature breaking into our lives as Jesus was transformed on the mountaintop with Peter, James and John. If you missed being with you you can watch here. Pray with us here. See photos from worship and fun staff event.

Upcoming Calendar:

  • Ash Wednesday Worship, March 6, 5:30-7:00 pm - Drop In/Come & Go
  • Open Door Winter Event at Colorado History Center, Sat, March 9, 10:00 am -1:00 pm
  • Midweek Lent Supper & Worship, Wednesdays March 13 - April 10, 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Great Beginnings Cafe

Questions for you to reflect on and discuss this week to take the message beyond Sunday.

  • Have you ever had what others might call a paranormal experience? Did it seem to be from God? How did it effect you spiritually?
  • Read the Transfiguration story in Luke 9:28-36. What stands out to you? Would you have liked to have been there?
  • At the conclusion of the Transfiguration story, Jesus heads back into the valley. Why did God choose the valley to once again be the normative human experience?
  • Looking ahead to next week: Read Genesis 9:8-17. What stands out the most: the punishment or the redemption?
