Sunday to Monday / Saints and Sinners

“Saints are Forgiven Sinners”

16th Century Church Reformer Martin Luther

Yesterday we celebrated All Saints Sunday, a day to remember those dear departed saints who impacted our faith and our lives. The scripture was Matthew 5:1-12, Jesus' teaching known as The Beatitudes. Blessed are you... We heard testimonies from Dave, Tammy, Milt, Claudia, Kathryn and Pastor DJ on their blessed saints. We celebrated the baptism of Robert Bradley Culberson! If you missed being with us, you can watch here

You might wish to pray with us over the names of our saints or the prayers of the day.  Photos from Sunday morning.

Take the message into your week for your devotional time or conversations with others.

  • Who are your Saints? Who reminded you that you are made in Gods image? Who shared the love of Christ’s forgiving grace with you?
  • Read Matthew 5:1-12. What verse stands out to you? Why do you think Jesus has put that one on your heart?
  • Reach out to someone who is a living saint in your life and tell them “you give thanks to God for them.”
  • Looking forward to next week: If you could go to Holy Land of Israel, what site would be the top priority to go and see?

An interesting discussion is definitely worth comment.
There's no doubt that that you should write more
about this issue, it may not be a taboo matter but typically people do not speak about such topics.

To the next! Best wishes!!
