Sunday to Monday / Resurrection

“Discipleship is about becoming who Jesus would be if he were you.”

 Dallas Willard

It's Memorial Day and we gave thanks yesterday for all who gave their lives for others. We heard all four Gospel accounts of the Resurrection story and considered how we might see the risen Jesus walking alongside us.

If you didn't get to join us, click here to watch the service. And check out these photos from the morning.

Thoughts, discussion starters and links for your week:

  • How often are you mindful of the Christ who “goes ahead of you”? (Mark 16:1-8)
  • Ponder the quote ,”Discipleship is about becoming who Christ would be if he were you.” - Dallas Willard (Matthew 28)
  • Pray for eyes to see the risen Jesus who walks beside us. (Luke 24)
  • Where might the risen Jesus be leading you from, “arrogant victim to wounded healer”? (John 20:24-29)
