Sunday to Monday/ Reservations for Jesus' Table

Because of this many of his disciples turned back and no longer went about with him.So Jesus asked the twelve, ‘Do you also wish to go away?’Simon Peter answered him, ‘Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life.We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.’
                                                                                                                           John 6:66-69

On Sunday, Pastor Dave’s sermon was entitled “Reservations for Jesus’ Table.” Text was from John 6:60-71.

Some questions to think about as you move into your week…

· Has it been your experience that following Jesus requires great “courage” and a high level of “risk” and “betrayal?” If yes, why does it require that? If not, why not, when that was the original disciples’ experience? (John 6:60-71)

· Who do you know who has great courage of faith? Have you thanked God for them? Have you affirmed them?

· How do you react to betrayal? What does it mean for our betrayals that Jesus was also betrayed?

· Do you want a faith so steeped and deep in Jesus the Devil finds you worth attacking? (John 6:70,71)
