Sunday to Monday | Once Was Blind, But Now I See

“Look instead for what God can do.” John 9:3-5

It was a good day in worship as Pastor DJ shared about Jesus turning spit from a curse to a miracle, healing a blind man. Alex B, from the MVHS Tennis Team, shared with us her perspective and wisdom of a high school student. She had much to teach us about the need for true relationships and community. If you were unable to be with us, you can watch here. Pray the prayers of the day

Last week we joined Jesus in his mercy to change me, we and the world. Check out photos:

Don't forget the Peter & Brendan Mayer House Concert on Tues, June 26!

For your week of reflection, devotions and reading.

  • What are the adversities and challenges you face today? Pray for Christ to give you wisdom and strength.
  • In Numbers 12:14 spittle is a curse; in John 9 spittle is used as a healing agent. When have you seen what you thought was bad, become a good thing?
  • How does listening to someone new such as a teen age voice (Alex?) help you to see where you might have otherwise been blind?
  • Looking ahead to next week: How might Jesus use procrastination to bless you? See John 8:40-56 for reflection.
