Sunday to Monday / Love One Another

“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.” John 13:34

Great day of worship sitting at tables, sharing our meal, contemplating and encouraging one another in Jesus' words to love. Jesus has illuminated a path for us to follow.  Click here for pictures from last week & yesterday's worship.

For your week in your personal devotions, reflections, conversations and discussions.

  • Compare the words of Jesus at the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 26:26-30) with the Passover meal in Exodus 12. Consider the “…Lamb, the Blood, the Bread, the need to Remember.” Ponder the parallels and the means by which God ties together the Old and New testaments.
  • When have you been shocked, and then felt the compassion of Christ? (John 13:1-11)
  • When have you been betrayed? How did you handle it? how did Jesus handle it? (John 13:21-30)
  • Looking ahead to Sunday: Do you need concrete answers or can you accept and live with mystery?
