Sunday to Monday | Kingdom

Pilate said, “What is truth?”

John 18:38

It was Christ the King Sunday, the last Sunday in the church year. A time to remember that Jesus' kingdom rules differently than human kingdoms. We welcomed Sylas Jon through baptism and kicked off this year's "For the Love Of Christmas" that allows us to share the love of Christmas with adopted families from Open Door and with kids at Paris Elementary. If you missed being with us, you can watch here. Pray with us here. And see photos here

Participate in ministry:

Take the message into your week's conversations, reflections and devotions:

  • When you think of a king, who do you think of: Elvis, Jesus, or someone else?
  • What attributes did Jesus have for being a king? See John 18:31-37 for reflection.
  • What is your “ultimate concern” as Dr. Paul Tillich professed?
  • Looking ahead ot next week: When you think of the Advent themes of joy, peace, hope and love, which one stands out as our greatest need in Advent 2018?

You have made some good points there. I looked on the net for additional information about the issue and found most individuals will go
along with your views on this website.
