Sunday to Monday | Kindness

“Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind always.”

Robin Williams

We gathered in worship to hear God's Word, open our hearts to it and remember our place in God's family. Mark 9:38-50 was the scripture. Jesus is teaching on a number of topics. We are to use our gifts to include, not judge and be compassionate toward one another. If you missed being with us, you can watch here. And, pray with us here

Check out ministry photos.

Don't miss upcoming events:

  • Extreme Community Makeover in West Colfax, Sat, Oct 6, 9 am
  • MUD Supper & Gathering at Great Beginnings Cafe, Thurs, Oct 11, 6 pm, Pizza night
  • Third Thursdays at Open Door at Wyatt Academy, Thurs, Oct 18, 3:30 pm

Questions for your week's reflections, devotions and conversations

  • What topic stands out to you in a reading of Mark 9:38-50?
  • What battle is going on within you, that you wish another person would notice?
  • When have you taken the time to listen to a battle another person was fighting?
  • Looking ahead to next week: How important is a good name? See Genesis 2:18-25 for reflection.

Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I'll just
sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your
blog. I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I'm still new to
the whole thing. Do you have any suggestions for newbie blog
writers? I'd certainly appreciate it.

My developer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.
But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using Movable-type on several websites for about a year
and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it?
Any kind of help would be really appreciated!
