Sunday to Monday | Inside Out

This past Saturday and Sunday we were fortunate to have Dr. Dick Hardel with us who is an expert on faith formation, living well in faith and passing on the faith.  He led a workshop on Saturday and helped us see the mystery about God and all of life.  On Sunday he preached at both services.  We were blessed as he shared from his years as a parish pastor, church staff, author and director of the Youth & Family Institute. Plus, he's a certified clown who knows that laughter is a gift of God!  Click here for Dr. Hardel's website.

Here's some things to think about this week:

  • How did you “catch” faith? Who was/is instrumental in your faith formation? Why?
  • What does “wellness” mean to you? How do you know when you are well; or not well?
  • Dr. Hardel writes, “Wellness is not the lack of illness, but a Christ-centered balance in eight areas of healthy life: Emotional, Social, Spiritual, Intellectual, Vocational/Occupational, Financial, Environmental, and Physical.” Take some time to check your Christ-centered balance in each of these areas.
  • How many times have you laughed today? Understanding that laughter is a gift of God, what do you need to do to insure your laugh life is healthy?
