Sunday to Monday / Imagine Resurrection!

“Zone of imagination”

Walter Bruegemann

It was a great Easter celebration at GGCC. Pastor Dave invited us to re-imagine the Easter story. In fact, all of scripture and the stories of how God is resurrecting and renewing. Faith is not a straight line - but a "box" or 3-D space in which God pours forgiveness, hope, redemption and life.

We were so glad to have you with us! If you weren't able to be with us in person or via the live stream, you can watch Easter worship here

For your Easter week reflections:

  • When you read (or hear) the story of Easter today in John 20:1-18, what stands out? Is it a word, a person, a phrase, or…? What Easter truth is the Holy Spirit whispering in your heart today?
  • Where would you like Jesus to offer you Walter Brueggemann’s “Zone of Imagination” and/or create a new way where old ways have grown dead?
  • What form of art has God used to shape the resurrection within you?
  • Pray about how and where the risen Jesus will your impact your life today and each day.
  • Music video, song from Hamilton featured in Pastor Dave's sermon:
