Sunday to Monday/ Holy Spirit

Sunday was a special day at Rock Canyon High School. Not only did we celebrate the Affirmation of Faith of 6 youth, but it was also Pentacost Sunday. The Holy Spirit poured in through the doors and hallways of RCHS and filled the space and people present! Pastor Dave’s sermon “Disruptions of the Holy Spirit” was based on text from Acts 2:1-21. We also said goodbye to Aunt Florence, as she will soon move back to Ohio.

Some questions to think about as you move into your week…

· What do the words “baptism” and “grace” mean to you? How might you grow deeper in your connection to God through these words?

· Affirmation of Baptism is something we can each do daily. Reflect upon how water, prayer, scripture, and sacred conversation might offer you renewal through baptism.

· Pray for these affirming their baptism: Ben Habert, Carter Heinemann, Jennah Knafelc, Brad Koerwitz, Matt Rabe, Jessica Thompson.

· How would the “world” receive a fresh “vision and new dreams” (Acts 2:17) if each day all followers of Jesus affirmed their baptism? How would your life change?
