Sunday to Monday | God is with us

“The word became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood.”  John 1:14 Msg

Yesterday was a wonderful celebration of the ministry of GGCC and the 15 years the congregation has worshipped, grown in faith, and served together. Pastor DJ presented the annual State of the Church. Much to celebrate and to look forward to. John 1:14 says the Word (Jesus) is around us as we celebrate, serve locally to globally, steward our finances, grow in discipleship and thank God. We gathered at 10 am to worship which was followed by the annual Congregational Gathering to approve the 2019 budget and reaffirm our participation in the ministry of GGCC. We are grateful to Jeff Tichota for leading the gathering and serving as moderator. Thank you Jeff for your faithfulness with us on the journey. If you missed being with us, you can watch here. And pray with us here. Get a copy of the State of the Church report here

  • How do you see God’s love as the Word or content of God’s message for your life, and the world? See John 1:14.
  • What forms does Christ take on that his “flesh” might be relevant in your life? See John 1:14.
  • Looking ahead to next week: Why is it important that the church gets high? See Luke 9:28-36.
