Sunday to Monday | God Answers Prayer

“When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread.”

Luke 11:2-3

It was our joy to hear God's word proclaimed by Rev. Dr. Larron Jackson. He read from Luke 11:1-3, 9-10. Jesus says, "pray like this" and when we ask, we will receive. Not necessarily what we want, but what we need. We can depend on God's power working to help us be God's light in the world. Amen! If you missed it, you can watch it here on demand. We'll be looking for you tonight at the annual Church Picnic! Rain or shine (we're in a covered pavilion) Redstone Park, Highlands Ranch, details here

For your week's reflection and conversations:

  • Say to the Lord this week, “please teach me how to pray.”
  • What word(s) in the Lord’s Prayer stand out to you?
  • Are you divinely dependent?
  • Looking ahead to next week: Do you wander? Why or why not?

Having read this I believed it was rather enlightening.
I appreciate you finding the time and energy to put this content together.
I once again find myself personally spending a lot of time
both reading and commenting. But so what, it was still worthwhile!
