Sunday to Monday | Followership

On Sunday, we celebrated with our annual High School Graduation Rite of Passage. Graduates and their parents participated in the blessing event. Pastor Dave’s sermon was entitled “Troubled Hearts, Promises, and Possibilities (Two Questions that will bring you Peace.)”

Some questions to ponder this week…

-How is your heart troubled (John 14:1) and craving a place with Jesus?

-Chipolte Chief Executive Steve Ells told this year’s CU graduates to “Find out how you can serve others while doing something that you love.” Do you agree with this advice? If you agree, how well do you follow Ells’ words?

-Pray for your “followership.” Followership is choosing noble objectives and pursuing them with such intensity, sacrifice that others want to follow Jesus with you. How might you dive deeper into your followership?        ( John 14:12-14)

-When was the last time you invested in someone else’s history and asked, “Where were you born and how were you raised?” (you cannot love another without knowing their history) and "What can I do for you?"
