On Sunday, dry bones were the topic of the day. Pastor Dave invited some folks up to share experiences of how their dry bones have been re-hydrated. We heard from participants in the Men's Bible Study, the Extreme Community Makeover of a few weeks ago and from "everyday encounters." He also shared news about where and how we will redirect our Ready to Grow funds.
Some questions to think about this week...
1. Are you feeling dry? What areas of your physical, emotional and spiritual lives are in need of a breath of the spirit?
2. Where and when have you felt the breath of God? (Eze 37:5) How might you find that breath today?
3. What does "Love God, Love People, Serve the World" mean to you personally? Which area is needing some attention?
4. What is your reaction to the M. Scott Peck quote, "...for it is in the solitary mind and soul of the individual that the battle between good and evil is waged and ultimately won or lost." Can one person really make a difference? How would you like to be an agent of God's blessing in the world?
