Sunday to Monday | Fence Row to Fence Row

"I pause to be surprised, to let the cares of the day be carried away, and to let my soul catch up with my body.”
~ from The Power of Pause by Terry Hershey

On Sunday, Pastor Dave’s sermon was entitled “I Am Not the Same Everywhere.” The text was from Isaiah 5:8.

Below are some questions to help you reflect on Sunday’s sermon…

· Is your life planted fence row to fence row? (Isaiah 5:8)

· What feelings wash over you when you hear Terry Hershey talk of “feeling valued, being recognized?”

· How are you doing with dwelling in the two spaces? Space one – getting things done, tethered to tech? Space two – pausing to rest and being reformed by God?

· When do you feel most alive? What are you doing? What is God up to?

· Prayerfully ponder your participation in the Terry Hershey week Jan 28-29. Check out the link with all the details on our home page at

“Let us go forth embracing the spaces where we are tied to tech and things get done. As well as the space for music, friendship, poetry and unrepentant napping.” Terry Hershey
