Sunday to Monday / Dream the Impossible Dream

“Even though you intended to do harm to me, God intended it for good, in order to preserve a numerous people, as he is doing today.”

Genesis 50:20

Yesterday was a great day of celebration: Celebrating that God turns everything that happens in our journey, good and bad, to be for our good. Celebrating that God helps us to dream and make our dreams come true. Celebrating our freedoms and the 240th birthday of our country. Celebrating Pastor Dave's birthday, which is today, July 4!

Please keep the family & friends of Don Medsker in your prayers as they mourn his loss and remember his life. The funeral service is Tuesday, July 5 at 11 a.m. Click here for details.

May you find time in this day or this week to reflect and discuss.

  • Is God calling you to “dream the impossible dream”? See Genesis 37:2-11 for reflection.
  • Has God called upon you to “fight the unbeatable foe”? Genesis 37:19,24 offers insight.
  • Ponder how God has used Genesis 50:20 “You intended to do me harm, but God used it for good” to construct your faith journey.
  • How might God be calling on you “to reach the unreachable star”? Genesis 42:6 may serve as a resource.
  • Looking ahead: What do you think of Deborah and Hagar’s courage? (Judges 4:4-9)
