Sunday to Monday / Don't Worry, Be Thankful

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God and God’s righteousness, and all these things will be yours.” Mathew 6:33

Are you a worrier? Jesus says "don't worry" which seems impossible, but if we focus on what God is doing worries can fade. Pastor Dave asked us to make a list of people (living) we'd like to have at our Thanksgiving dinner. Then he gave us a thank you card to write a note to one of those people. Who will you write your note to?

Last week was a full ministry week. Check out photos from each of the events.

  • Open Door After School Program here
  • Pie Social & Profiles of Faith with Jude Del Hierro here (Thanks Dave & Lori Lee for hosting!)
  • Shopping for Thanksgiving baskets here  (Thanks Herzog/Heflebower families for your leadership)
  • Assembly & Distribution of Thanksgiving baskets here  (Thanks to ALL who helped!)
  • Worship Nov 22, 2015 here

Questions, discussion starters, reflection activities to take into this week.

  • What are you thankful for? What do you worry about? Which topics do you give more time: thanks or worry?
  • What does it mean for you to be blessed? (read Matthew 6:25-34)
  • Who will you reach and express gratitude to this week?
  • What does the season of Advent mean to you?
