Sunday to Monday | Captives Set Free

"The word became flesh..." John 1

It was our joy to welcome Scott & Mollie Freeman to lead us in worship with the experience of creating a painting to share the Gospel. Jesus taught in Nazareth from the book of Isaiah: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free." (Luke 4:18) If you were unable to be there you can watch the service here.

Check out Prayers of the Day here and photos from the morning here

Remember next Sunday, April 15 is Consecration Sunday with ONE SERVICE ONLY at 10:00 a.m. followed by lunch downstairs in the RCHS cafeteria.

Take these thought, conversation starters and links into your week.

  • “The word became flesh...” John 1. Why do you think it matters to God that the Gospel be filled with content and relevant form?
  • What is the unique gift the spoken word brings versus a painting to convey a message and vice versa?
  • How has Christ used ML King Jr to change the world, our community, your home, and your heart?
  • Looking ahead to next week: Prayers for Pastor Jolly, his ministry, and time among us.

With havin so much written content do you ever run into
any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My site has a lot of exclusive content I've either created myself or outsourced but it
looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any solutions to help reduce content from being ripped off?
I'd certainly appreciate it.
