Sunday to Monday | Blessed to Travel

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.” John 4:13,14

On Sunday, our own GGCC missionaries who recently traveled to Nicaragua, shared stories about their experience.

Some things to think about as you begin your week….

In John 4, Jesus reaches out the Samaritan woman…. A woman whose people are his enemies and one whose culture is so different from his.

-What was Jesus trying to teach us when he asked the Samaritan woman to give him a drink at the well?

-Do you feel comfortable reaching out to someone that is outside of your own culture, religion, race or ethnicity? Why or why not? How has your heart been changed by reaching out to someone different than yourself?

-The food about which Jesus was speaking (John 4: 34) was his spiritual nourishment. Our spiritual nourishment includes more than Bible study, prayer and attending church it also comes from doing God's will - both the taking in and giving out. What is your spiritual nourishment? How are you allowing God to bless you?
