Sunday to Monday / Be in Rome, Where You Are

On Sunday, the sermon series on cities of the Bible continued with Rome.  The Apostle Paul wanted the Romans, whether they were Jew or Gentile, to be in Christ.  We are to be . . . just be.  It can be hard to be and just love.

Here's some thoughts for this week:

  • What thoughts came to mind when you hear the phrase “Be who you are, everyone else is taken?”  Oscar Wilde?
  • Pray for your transformation and the transforming of the world.  (Romans 12:1,2)
  • What is “genuine love?”  (Romans 12:9-21)
  • What might the world look like if all lived by, “Owe no one nothing except to love one another?”  (Romans 13:8,9)
