Sunday to Monday / Amazing Grace

“If the world would be saved by a bookkeeper and settling accounts,
God would have given us Moses, not Jesus.”
Father Robert Capon

Amazing Grace...that's the scandalous message Jesus tells in Matthew 20:1-16.  Abundant grace for the longtime faithful and abundant grace for all who are new to the faith. It can be a challenging message for those who feel they should be in the front of the line...but it's a healing message to all who seek God's mercy and love.

We welcomed Onnaven into the family of God through his baptism.  And celebrated amazing grace - over and over.  Click here for photos from worship.  Click here to see photos from youth group last night.

Take the discussion and reflection into your week:

  • Read Matthew 20:1-16. Does it seem fair?
  • How might it be to our benefit that the grace of Jesus is lavish and seems unfair?
  • Have you ever reated people intentionally “unequally” because it was the right thing to do? What was the reactin of those involved? What was the final result?
  • Looking ahead to next week: How do you respond to authority?
