"You never become truly spiritual by sitting down and wishing to become so. You must undertake something so great that you cannot accomplish it unaided.”
~ Phillips Brooks
(Rich Mullins From An Arrow Pointing to Heaven, by James Bryan Smith)

Brad Corrigan, Founder of Love Light and Melody was with us on Sunday and shared the stories of those who lives are being changed in Nicaragua.  God also works on our hearts as well as we, too, are transformed.  Not so far away in South Dakota, Brad told us about needs in the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.  Just six hours from Denver it was shocking to see how people there are living in such horrible conditions.  We are excited about our partnership in ministry with LLM and look forward to ways we are able to help make a difference locally, regionally and globally.

Here's some questions to think about this week:

  • Why would God’s vision be for the church to be a participant in Kingdom formation – locally, regionally, and globally? (Acts 1:6-8)
  • Do you desire to grow spiritually? Are you willing to take courage and with Jesus undertake something great? "You never become truly spiritual by sitting down and wishing to become so. You must undertake something so great that you cannot accomplish it unaided.” ~ Phillips Brooks (Rich Mullins From An Arrow Pointing to Heaven, by James Bryan Smith)
  • Pray with discipline this week for Love Light and Melody (LLM). Reflect upon God’s Grace Community Church’s (GGCC) relationship to LLM and your place in the mission. What might God be calling you to?
