Sunday to Monday | Nomads

On Sunday, Pastor Dave spoke about the "liminal space" in the threshold of the current happening. He reminded us that we are drawn in to follow God; we're on the road to somewhere at all times. Do we need to know where that somewhere is? There is new creation within each of us!

Some questions to guide you through the week...

In your “liminal space” of prayer talk to God about the artistry you are called to create.

As you read Genesis 1, pray over Suzanne Stabile's words “Nothing good or creative comes out of business as usual.”

Brian McLaren says, “What you focus on determines what you miss.” Where is your focus? What might you be missing?

As you read Genesis 1, pray about how God moves from disorder to order. How might your place in God’s dominion (Gen 1:26) be faithful to the way of creation?

Pray that the church might live in the tension of Suzanne Stabile's words, “The church needs discontent, but the people want status quo.”

I was wondering if you have the sermon about 'liminal space' that you could possibly send to me. A friend of mine at church received a word from God - it was 'liminal space'. She looked it up and found your site. It is exactly where I am in God right now and waiting for something but not sure what it is as I have just finished up in my job and I feel God wants me to do something new. I was overseeing 5000 women and I know God has got something amazing next but I need faith to wait on Him because I have a sense that what He has is not what I have done before , and that He is going to move in a way that I cannot yet see.
Hope that makes sense and would love to get any info on this topic.
ps. Looks like you have a great church! Im from Australia.

God bless - Louise Taylor
