But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

December has been a banner month for GGCC serving the world - locally to globally!

Caroling Event: 20 adults and 9 children sang Christmas Carols to 21 senior citizens at two assisting living centers in Highlands Ranch.

Open Door Youth Gang Alternatives:  600 children and parents served by 75 GGCC ministry servants at the after school program, paent night and Christmas Party.

Paris Elementary:  52 children and parents celebrated at Terrific Readers and Writers Ceremony with 8 GGCC ministry servants.  649 pieces of clothing, including 68 coats were collected by GGCC.

The Gathering Place:  7 GGCC ministry servants served 34 women, leading Bingo.

Peter Mayer Christmas Concert:  more than 177 guests responded to the event with an offering of $2,390.  100% of the offering received is split among the ministries that GGCC collaborates with to serve the world from Denver to Haiti.

Paris Elementary School

Help host the Terrific Readers & Writers Ceremony at Paris Elementary in Aurora. At Paris, 90% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch and speak a language other than English at home.

Each month, we honor students nominated by their teachers for their hard work and improvement in reading and writing. Each child receives a certificate and a new book to take home, then people from GGCC spend a few minutes with students exploring the new books.

Contact Sandee Johnson for details and carpooling info.

Can't come during the day? You can still be involved in this ministry by donating new or nearly new books for K-6th grade level readers. Just bring books to church any Sunday morning. Throughout the year, God's Grace also partners with the school to provide school supplies, warm coats, and Thanksgiving baskets for students and their families.

Thanksgiving Basket Outreach

Paris Elementary Thanksgiving Basket Outreach

This year 40 Paris families will have a Thanksgiving dinner thanks to the generosity of GGCC participants. 224 people at Paris were impacted by the outreach and approximately 720 food items were donated.  Thanks for being Jesus to the Paris Community and touching so many hearts!
