Today I wish you an Advent season of peace. Peace by knowing that even though you may not have had time to put up the extra few strings of lights outside, you really brightened a less fortunate person's Christmas by taking the time to buy them a gift they may not have otherwise received. And the peace of knowing that even though you felt you were being a little less than cheery by not getting Christmas cards sent, you certainly warmed the hearts and bodies of a child from Paris Elementary by taking the time to purchase warm coats, hats and mittens for them. And I am sure that thoughtful purchase also made it a little less stressful for that child's parents, knowing their child will now be toasty warm going to and from school. And peace in knowing you have brought Christmas in the way of a super fun party to the 400 expected kids and parents in Five Points when they experience joy, love, and inviting fellowship.

So here's to peace in knowing Christ is in your Christmas. Thanks to all who take time to brighten the lives of others. Wishing you continued joy and peace of the Christmas season.
