Our Actions

Dear Samaritans,

The story of “The Good Samaritan “ stands out as one of the Bible’s most well remembered stories. A man is injured and in a ditch. Two religious leaders walk right by him. The only person who stops to help him is a Samaritan, who was seen by the vast majority of the culture as racially inferior. The Samaritan gives the injured party enough to keep them going for the journey of life. The injured person receives some shelter and a few dollars. No offer of co- dependent support for life, just the help that was needed in the moment. See Luke 10:25-37 for the entire story.

Lord may our best testimonies to your love use words only when necessary. Let our actions speak loudly of Christ's love!

A little boy was overheard praying: “Lord , if You can’t make me a better boy, don’t worry about it. I’m having a real good time like I am.”  Lord don’t leave us in the ditch of how we are. Grant us the courage to be transformed a bit each day in your image.

Prayers: For Angie Jumper and the group from Booneville that the seeds of love Christ lifted up during their visit might take root among us. Healing for Lyle Melcher, Debbi Meador, Deanne Cruickshank and all who are in need of healing. All leaders and followers upon this globe.

Still in One Peace,

Pastor David J. Jensen
