Conversations of late seem to revolve around health. Mine, my friends, family, and others I’m privileged to lift up in pray and offer my support.

For some reason my thoughts drifted to when I first started working at church and typing the order of service for Sunday worship. On more than a few occasions I found that I had been typing “silence for medication” rather than the correct word “meditation.” Both of these are real words so spell check didn’t catch it. I was embarrassed to say the least.

I learned something very interesting. The word meditation is related to the word medicine. So maybe I wasn’t off-base after all with my spelling error. To have a daily dose of intentionally focusing on God is the most perfect prescription I know.

Blessed Healing,
Nancy Nickoley

P.S. I must also confess that if your name happened to be “Chris”….on more than a few occasions…it would be typed “Christ.” Again, both real words and not so off-base as we are called to be like Christ in the world!

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.
3 John 2
