Now I See

Dear Fishermen and Fisherwomen,

Do you remember the story of Jesus walking by the temple when he saw a man who had been blind since birth?  Jesus touched him and suddenly , the man could see. The newly sighted man told of his healing to his family, and his friends , his neighbors, and the Pharisees. They peppered him with questions and declared how improper it was for Jesus to heal him on the Sabbath. The healed blindman's response is great. He said ,” I don’t know ; all I know is once I was blind, and now I see.” (John 9)

Do you have a story to tell?  One formula for a great story is to say, ”This is who I once was, but oh, by the grace of God, this is who I am today!” God can use your testimonial as a net to draw others into the Kingdom of God.

In Matthew 4:12-23 we are called to fish for people. Fishing for people happens when real people authentically have a story to share of, ”I was once like this, and all I know is by the grace of God now I am like this...” The grace and mercy of God will take care of all the rest.
