"We do not remember days, we remember moments." Cesare Pavese

Just two weeks ago, I was in Booneville, Mississippi beginning a week long adventure with 14 others from GGCC. This last week was spent working and moving. Long days and short nights. The days are a blur. Yesterday I was sharing with a friend from work how I, along with others from church, take turns writing online devotions. I said I wasn’t sure what to write about this month and she shared the above quote with me. My friend and I then spent the next several minutes sharing moments that we have experienced with several of our patients. I also thought about the last few weeks. I don’t remember everything that has happened and in what order, but I do remember various moments. Moments that I will cherish for a lifetime. As always, God blessed me with just what I needed to hear and a great friend to share yet another moment with.

I think the quote says it all … What special moments has God blessed you with?

Dear God, thank you for the gift of memorable moments and the special people in our lives we share them with. Please help us to embrace these moments as blessings. In your name we pray, Amen.

Great quote April; its so true-the days, the weeks, the seasons, our lives (!)sometime just seem a blur of jumbled recollections of special moments we forever cherish.

I thank God for our precious salt-n-peppa moment in Booneville, Mississippi!!
