Miracles

Atheists always point out that the Bible must be legend or made up stories because none of the miracles that happen in the Bible could be true... such as the story of Noah and the flood, the virgin birth, Jesus turning water into wine, resurrection, etc.

I’ve always found it interesting that atheists think life on earth began somewhere deep down in the “primordial soup” 3.8 billion years ago as a result of the combination of chemicals from the atmosphere and some form of energy to make amino acids, the building blocks of proteins, which would then evolve into the first species on Earth.  Today’s scientists are incredibly knowledgeable and sophisticated.  However, if we were to put all of today’s scientists on earth into a room, with all their collective knowledge put together and ask them to create even a single living plant or animal cell, they would not know how to even begin to do such a thing.  Furthermore, they couldn’t do it with all the latest laboratories, equipment, chemicals, processes, etc.

To believe this argument of how life began takes a lot more faith than I certainly have because I think a single living cell is a miracle – a miracle of God’s creation.

How many miracles do you see all around you everyday?

Albert Einstein once said “There are only two ways to live your life: as though nothing is a miracle, or as though everything is a miracle.”  I fall squarely in Albert’s camp on this one.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something which I
think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me.
I am looking forward for your next post, I'll try to get the hang of it!
