Hope in the Lord

Election Day is over!

Thank goodness we no longer have to endure the negative ads on TV as well as the news media's bluster. Some Americans woke up yesterday, happy and hopeful and yet, some were sad and fearful. I woke up to dozens of FaceBook posts of extreme reactions. In this election, both sides have been fearful of the other side. How did politics become so poisonous? How has the trust disappeared in our country? Who is holding the American flag high?

Long after this election, there will be those who will claim "we won". Others will have four years to say, "that's why I didn't vote for _________".

We as a UNITED people with sound moral values and ethics can make this country whatever we want. We shape our communities with the Power of God!

Put your trust, not in man, but in our Lord and Savior. There is no better time than now, to show Jesus in ourselves.

Isaiah 40:28-31

"Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The Lord is the everlasting God,

The creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary,

And His understanding no one can fathom,

He gives strength to the weary, and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary.

And young men stumble and fall;

But those who hope in the Lord

Will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

They will run and not grow weary,

They will walk and not be faint."

May God bless our nation and may the days of change ahead, unify and turn our hearts toward the common love we have for America.
