He is Risen Indeed!

Christ is risen!

He is risen indeed!

Can we still say that? I mean, it’s not Easter morning anymore.

Yes! We can still say that. We can still say that every day of the year. Each and every day, we can and must proclaim Christ is risen! That is the hope and the essence of our faith.

In these days of trade wars and actual wars. Of data breaches and weather changes. Of national guard deployments and walls of hate and fear. Of sanctions and protests. Of division and walkouts. We need Easter hope more than ever.

“Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.” ― John Paul II

May we not only say “Christ is risen!” But may we live it and breathe it and give it. With our forgiveness and our compassion and our love.

That’s how the world will know that Christ is risen! Because we proclaim it in the midst of our struggles, our suffering and our sorrow. Hallelujah!

Scott & Mollie Freeman proclaim Christ is risen through their lives and work as artists. We welcome them tomorrow at one service only: 10:00 am. It won’t be the same without YOU.

Grace be with you,

Vikki

PS: We have the chance to proclaim Christ is Risen! to the RCHS community with our Clean Up Service Project after worship tomorrow. Please join us!
