Happy New Year

There are two “new year” times in a year. The one where we make (or don’t make) resolutions, party it up and start the calendar over.

The other one is when it’s back to school. And, even if you’re not in the stage of beginning another school year or having someone who is, it’s still a time of new starts for us all. Because we remember that back to school feeling – I mean, who doesn’t want to buy a new box of crayons or pens this time of year?

It’s nice to have an opportunity to start over that’s not in the middle of the darkest days of winter. I think it’s easier to make resolutions now, or at least set some goals that might actually seem achievable.

So along with praying for our students, parents, teachers, custodians, coaches, aides, principals, nurses, cafeteria workers, bus drivers, administration, school boards and everyone involved with education, let’s pray for all of us, that we might be life-long learners. Learning, growing and becoming all that God dreams for us.

Here are a few Bible verses to pray at this “new year”.

We’ll be looking for you tomorrow at 9:00 or 10:30 am.

Grace be with you,

It appears like some of the text in your content are running off the screen. Can someone else
please comment and let me know if this is happening to them as well?
This might be a problem with my internet browser because I've had this happen previously.
